Xavier University Bhubaneswar (XUB) now called XIM University sees itself as a quality university delivering quality education to quality students from the world over. The Xavier University came into being with the Government of Odisha passing the Xavier University Act in June 2013. On 11th May 2021, the Xavier University, Odisha (Amendment) Act 2021 was passed in the Odisha Legislative Assembly, renaming Xavier University as XIM University.
