Khallikote University

Khallikote University (KU) is the first cluster University to be set up under Rashtriya Uchhatar Shiksha Abhiyan (RUSA) in Odisha on 30th May 2015. The people of southern Odisha had long wanted a university that would be imparting higher education in several interdisciplinary professional courses. At present, the University is functioning at Khallikote college campus.

The University works towards the educational, cultural, economic, environmental, health and social advancement of the state of Odisha in general and southern Odisha in particular.

The University provides quality education both at the Under graduate (UG) and post graduate level through its constituent colleges, and its own departments and its lead college respectively.

Khallikote University strives to be one of most vibrant and research intensive university of Odisha. It keeps pace with the changing global trends in education and research. The University envisions to provide ample opportunity to those coming from the lower socio- economic strata of society seeking quality education in the emerging areas of the professional and IT savvy world.
